I've Been Thinking:
A team of archeologists from Norway and France have discovered and unearthed a compound consisting of six churches and many isolation chambers. The remains are from the 5th century.
The finds are located in the Western desert. This dig further supports the idea that monastic life was commonplace in Christian religious life.
They found inscriptions. They found buildings that were cut into bedrock. They discovered that basalt stone as well as mud brick was used for building.
Archeological finds like this one are very helpful in our understanding of early Christian society.
