I've Been Thinking:
How was Iran able to hack into Israel’s water pumping computers?
How was it possible that Iranian hackers were able to get so deep into a secure Israeli system?
The answer is twofold.
First, Israel’s water system was compromised.
Second, Iran worked hard to find the water system’s weakness.
Iran is getting better and better at hacking. They are spending more time searching and finding weaknesses within systems. And they are sharing information with other hackers, especially with anarchist hackers.
All this can and should be expected.
What is surprising is that Israel did not immediately repel their Iranian hackers. And that’s why Iran was able to get in as far as they did, before being expelled.
This cannot happen again. Israel needs to do better. Israel needs to be better.
